A Word About Clones & Knock-Offs

A quick word about brand names and genuine products. We just want everybody know that all products listed on our website are 100% genuine products from the original manufacturer, unless it is specificity stated as a clone as is the case of a few mechanical MODs or atomizers. On the product page for each item, there is a manufacturer logo above the product images indicating who makes the item.

It has come to light lately that many vendors have been selling knock-offs of the popular Aspire Nautilus tanks without disclosing it as such. This is how some vendors are able to offer these tanks at such an incredible low price. I order these products from China, so I know how much they cost and how much freight costs add to the final price, and I just shake my head when I see some of the crazy low prices being advertized on Facebook. Either these vendors are happy selling these products at just about their cost, or they are getting them way below the manufacturers price. That tells me they are not legit products. And that is exactly what happened. These knock-off products are of inferior quality and may seem like a deal at first, but very quickly it becomes apparent it would have been smart to pay a few bucks more for the real deal.

Now, we are not totally against clones. When it comes to mechanical MODs or rebuildable atomizers it is usually the case that the clones perform almost as good as the real deal, and can cost almost $100 less and are actually available whereas the original piece may be limited and are to find. But when it comes to items such as clearomizer tanks, eGo batteries, or VV MODs it is never a good idea to save just a few dollars and get a knock-off. We just want you to be an informed consumer, and know what you are buying. If you see the latest “Protank” or “EVOD” battery listed on some random vape site and they don't specially mention that it is from Kangertech, chances are it is a knock-off. When you visit smoke-evolution.com you can be sure you are only getting legit Kanger, Aspire, Innokin, Vapeonly, Joyetech, Efest, Vision, & Sigelei products. Many of the recent products from these companies now come with scratch-off serial number stickers that you can enter on their website to verify the products are officially made merchandise. Please always check these numbers no matter where you buy them, so you can be sure you are using the real deal.

Thank you for taking the time to read this long post. I want to close by letting you all know we have the genuine Aspire Nautilus tank on sale this week for only $29.99. Treat yourself to the best glass clearomizer tank on the market today.
